New property listed in Likely, Quesnel Lake

I have posted a new property at 5400 Winkley Creek RD in Williams Lake.

Quesnel Lake private, waterfront cabin on over 3⁄4 of an acre, surrounded by Crown land. Over 1,000 sf of finished living space on 2 floors. Great views of the lake from the kitchen, living room, and the bedroom upstairs. The cabin is all set up for no services, with a propane fridge, stove and lights. There is some basic wiring here as well, in case you wanted to bring your generator. If boating or fishing is your thing, Quesnel Lake is the largest fjord lake in North America. There is endless exploring to do here, on the many arms of the lake.

This property is not far past the small town of Likely, and The Likely Hotel and Pub. If you have the chance, stop in here for a look and a pop. This is an amazing piece of history. The walls and halls are full of memorabilia from days gone by.

Quesnel Lake

Quesnel Lake is reported to be the deepest fjord lake in the world. At junction of the North and East Arms Quesnel Lake is approximately 4 miles across. The North Arm is 25 miles long, the East Arm is 34 miles long and the Main Lake is approximately 50 miles to the outflow of Quesnel River located at Likely, BC.

Quesnel Lake boasts a trophy fishing population of rainbow trout, lake trout, dolly varden, and ling cod. Be sure to study the fishing regulations for Quesnel Lake before you venture out.

Lake, the town of Likely is one of the few remaining old gold rush settlements. Originally known as Quesnel Dam, the town was renamed in honour of John A. Likely who was connected to the famous Bullion Mine.

Quesnel Lake is known for its excellent recreation. This is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Cariboo! Boating, water skiing, fishing, or swimming. Other activities to enjoy in the area are hiking, horseback riding or biking. Winter activities include snowmobiling, cross country skiing, or snow shoeing! Plenty to do in the Cariboo.
